Three projects in depth. Each one is something I owned from the first decision to the version people use.

URM ENROLL

Technical co-founder · since November 2024

A platform that helps students and skilled workers from Lebanon and the wider MENA region find a study programme in Europe, or check whether they qualify for Germany's Opportunity Card, the Chancenkarte.

I own the software end to end: the architecture, the React and Node.js code, AI-assisted eligibility screening and applicant matching, and a GDPR-compliant data pipeline. I also lead a small development team through code review and sprint planning.

The other URM products

FLOW

Sole developer · 2026

A trading-education product: courses, subscriptions and market signals for learners on the web, on iOS and on Android, run from one admin console.

I built all of it on my own: the API, the database, the web app, the admin console and the native mobile apps. Every app talks to one API and one database, so what a learner paid for is decided in one place.

The API, database and admin console are live. Public launch is planned for October 2026.

Transformers

Research assistant and lead developer · 2023 to 2025

Applied research at Rhine-Waal University on whether games can get people to recycle better. I built the research platform in Node.js and Firebase and analysed the behaviour data in Python.

It led to two peer-reviewed publications and to the technical architecture of a EUR 116,300 EXIST start-up grant proposal.
